Why can't I check out?

There are a number or reasons why customers have issues paying for their orders and checking out.

Address or Email Problems:

Our checkout system runs through numerous checks to help ensure communication with customers can take place and that delivery of your order will be successful. If you are having problems, please review your entries into the checkout carefully.

If any fields are highlighted or have an asteric * next to them they are required to be filled in correctly.

Please correct the entry and try to check out again.

Email Already in Use:

If you have already ordered with us and are using the same email our system may detect you as an existing customer. You can either log in, or if you've forgotten your password, reset it on the login page.

Alternatively you can checkout as a Guest with the same email.

Payment Issues:

Most payments are checked to ensure the name and address match the card details. If you wish to send the lenses to a different location, you will be required to fill out the billing information and shipping information separately so billing address and names match the card being used.

Check Your Card:

Sunglass Fix accepts payments with PayPal express (bringing back address information), PayPal standard where you still populate your address and only confirm payment within PayPal, and Credit Cards.

At present we accept VISA and MasterCard. If you desire to use another card you can add cards to PayPal then use that system to fund you account with

PayPal Buy Now Pay Later or Pay in 4. We have nothing to do with PayPal's payment plans. However, we do know they are available in many countries and can usually be elected withing PayPal when you use PayPal express or PayPal standard.

If your card payments continued to be rejected, you may need to call your financial institution. We are an Australian company and sometimes your credit card company may block international transactions without your knowledge even when charged in your local currency. The error messages returned from PayPal are frequently cryptic so it's hard for us to inform you of the exact problem.

Visa and MC Gift Cards:

We have also heard problems with using Visa or MasterCard gift Cards. There are some cases these will not work internationally.
